My hus...I can't believe I hadn't heard this story! <BR/>My husband and I were married in a UU church and attended in Northern Virginia.<BR/>I've never subscribed to any organized religion, but felt the energy of the UU as close to something I could embrace as possible.<BR/>This story is appalling. However less than surprising when you hear people's response to something presumably simple, such as a children's book/movie like The Golden Compass, regardless the undertones. Intolerance in its various forms is alive and well and from what I can tell as the presidential campaign heats up, going nowhere!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
